Project instructions and product links: DSP measuring 9 1/2″ x 5 3/8″ (22cm x 13cm), score the long side 3 7/8″, 4 1/8″, 7″ & 8 1/4″ (7cm, 10cm, 17cm & 20cm), then the short side at 1 1/4″ & 4 1/8″ (3cm & 10cm). Next cut, mitre, glue box together and decorate / embellish to finish.

Hi everyone, today I am taking part in the Pootlers Team ‘Colour Refresh’ Video Hop! I’ve created these fabulous Tuck Fold Lid Gift Boxes using the Bright & Beautiful Suite. Project instructions and product links: Cardstock measuring 8 1/4″ x 10 3/4″ (21cm x 27cm) X2, score the long side at 6″ & 8 1/2″ (15cm & 22cm) and the short side at 1/2″, 3 1/2″ & 6″ (1.25cm, 9cm & 15cm), cut, mitre and glue reinforced base of box. Box lid cardstock measuring 7 1/2″ x 6″ (19cm x 15cm), score the long side at 2″ & 5″ (5cm & 13cm), on the short side mark the centre point and cut the triangle front shape. DSP x3 pieces measuring 2 3/8″ x 5 7/8″ (5.5cm x13.5cm) with one of the pieces mark the centre point of the long side and cut from the centre to each corner to create a triangle shape. DSP X2 pieces measuring 2 7/8″ x 2 3/8″ (7.25cm x 5.5cm) and one piece measuring 2 7/8″ x 5 7/8″ (7.25cm x 13.5cm). Adhere the lid to the box base and the DSP pieces into place, finally decorate / embellish to finish.

For the Rosette I used left over DSP measuring 1 1/4″ x 6″ (3cm x 15cm) X2 pieces and I scored the long side every 1/4″ (1/2cm) and folded back and forth. I then glued the ends together to create a circle and flattened the rosette into shape securing it with a small circle at the back and star cut out at the front.

Project instructions and product links: Designer Series Paper measuring 12″ x 6″ (30cm x 15cm), score the long side at 6″ (15cm) and mark the centre point of both of the short sides at 3″ (7.5cm), then score from the centre mark to the score line to create a diamond shape, then burnish and fold into the no glue triangle gift box design. punch holes in the sides and thread ribbon through and tie a bow to secure the gift box, finally decorate / embellish to finish.

Project instructions and product links: Cardstock for the box base sides X2 measuring 10 1/2” x 4-1/8” (26.7cm x 10.5cm), score the short side @ 1/2” and 3” (1.3cm & 7.6cm), next score the long side with the 1/2” section on the bottom @ 2 1/16”. 5”, 7 1/16” & 10” (5.2cm, 12.7cm, 17.9cm & 25.4cm). Cardstock for the box lid & base X 2 measuring 5 15/16” x 5 15/16” with markers @ 1 1/2” & 4 1/2” on all sides, X1 measuring 5 7/8” x 5 7/8” with markers @ 1 1/2” and 4 1/2” on all sides and X1 measuring 6” x 6”with markers @ 1 1/2” and 4 1/2” on all sides – then trim corners off all four pieces. Cardstock for the box lid sides X2 measuring 10 3/4” x 4 1/8”, score the short side @ 1/2” & 2 1/2”, next score the long side with the 1/2 section on the top @ 2 1/8”, 5 1/8”, 7 1/4” & 10 1/4”. DSP layers for the lid measuring X4 @ 1 7/8” x 2”, X4 @ 1 7/8” x 2 7/8” and X1 @ 5 7/8” x 5 7/8” with markers at 1 1/2” and 4 1/2” on all sides, trim corner off. Finally burnish, cut, mitre and glue box base and then lid, then decorate / embellish to finish.
