Pansy Patch ‘Book Bind Fancy Fold’ Card

Hi all, I hope you enjoy my blog today, if you would like to purchase any of the Stampin Up! products shown I have created links to my online shop for the products throughout the text for you. Jayne x

This beautiful card was created for a team challenge to celebrate the launch of the new Stampin Up! Annual Catalogue 2021/2022! I picked the gorgeous Pansy Patch Suite to showcase the fabulous Designer Series Paper (I absolutely love this DSP).

To make this card I cut and Scored a top fold card base in ‘Soft Sea Foam’ Cardstock – dimensions 10.5cm x 29.6cm and then scored at 14.8 cm and again at 17.8 cm.

I then burnished and glued the ‘Book Bind’ into place and turned the card base to a landscape opening. I used the beautiful edge die from the ‘Scalloped Contours’ Dies approximately 1cm from the edge to create the pretty recessed card front edge.

‘Basic white’ Cardstock dimensions 9.5 cm x 10.3 cm for the front (again using the beautiful edge die from the ‘Scalloped Contours’ Dies to create the layered card edge) and a second piece measuring 10 cm x 10.7 cm for the card inner liner.

‘In Colours’ DSP layer 2.5 cm x 10 cm.

‘Pansy Patch’ DSP 2 cm x 9.5cm (x2 for the front and the inner card liner decoration).

I then used the ‘Pansy Patch’ DSP together with the Pansy Dies to die cut the 3 flowers on the front of the card. &

All of the stamping was completed using the ‘Evening Evergreen’ classic stampin’ ink pad and the ‘Pansy Patch’ and ‘Color & Contour’ stamp sets., &

Finally what card would be complete without the co-ordinating ‘Evening Evergreen’ embellishments, I used the glorious In colour open weave ribbon and the fabulous 2021-2023 In colour jewels. &
